D.Ed course in Delhi
A diploma in Education, known as D.Ed, is a two-year course program. The prime focus is teaching children of 1 to 8 standards. D.Ed is prevalent in names like JBT, BTC, D.Ed, and D.EI.Ed. NCTE, or The National Council of Teacher Education, has set the standards and norms for teacher education nationwide. NCTE has directed that the course be called a Diploma in Elementary Education, i.e., D.EI.Ed.

Students must have scored a minimum of 50% in senior secondary Education and must have five subjects, including English, eligible for D.Ed.

The admission process for D.Ed is done by the District Institute of Education & Training Branch or SCERT. The admission process is conducted through a merit-based procedure.
